Did you receive a message in your Whatsapp group chats stating “Send for Admin Review Was Turned on for This Group”?
This is a new feature that is being released for Whatsapp.
Group administrators have a helpful tool at their disposal to ensure their groups and online communities remain enjoyable, engaging, and suitable for all users.
This tool allows members of the group to submit messages for review by the admin, contributing to a sense of oversight and management.
Whenever this function is activated or deactivated, all group members will receive a notification to keep them informed of the change.
This feature proves especially valuable for group administrators who might not always be available to oversee the group’s interactions.
Upon activation, any participant in the group chat can effortlessly submit a message for the administrator’s assessment.
This can be done by accessing the message options.
These messages earmarked for review will be compiled in a new section within the group’s information screen.
The admin then has the choice to delete the message for all members or take necessary actions based on the content’s nature, which might include excluding the sender from the group.
The main goal of this feature is to empower groups to maintain a setting that’s secure and respectful for all participants.
By enabling group administrators to review messages sent by other members, this feature assists in monitoring the group’s activity even during the admin’s absence.
It’s worth noting that this feature is currently in the beta phase and will gradually roll out in the coming days.
